CEO - Janice Horsman

Janice Horsman joined Westminster Mind as Interim CEO on 1 July 2010. A qualified social worker, Janice’s career has spanned the charity and public sectors over three decades, delivering award winning health and social care services for the benefit of service users and the communities in which they live. With knowledge of the substance misuse, mental health, housing and criminal justice sectors, Janice brings an inclusive and entrepreneurial approach to her consultancy and executive roles. Over her recent career history, Janice has regenerated four charities, working closely with the respective Trustees and wider stakeholder groups. In managing complex and demanding change journeys, she has been successful in securing a sustainable future through growth, service improvement and merger.

Experienced as a senior manager in the public sector and CEO in the Third Sector, Janice’s interim role will focus on building on Westminster Mind’s reputation for delivering excellent mental health services, ensuring the Charity is well placed to deliver the recovery agenda and personalised services. With the financial challenges ahead, Westminster Mind will also be moving to improved, cost efficient premises and developing wider partnerships to deliver the very best mental health services for the communities of Westminster and beyond.
