Services
Westminster Mind provides a great choice of vital and much valued services to support people with their recovery from mental health issues. These include counselling, a treatment programme for people with agoraphobia, a befriending scheme called Flexicare, support to get in to voluntary work (Support 4 Volunteering and Opportunities for Volunteering), a workscheme called Portugal Prints to learn computing, art and design, sessional work and training activities at Aldwych Enterprises, supported housing services, and the 526 Drop In where there is a café and additional activities such as art groups, outings and bingo.
Most services are funded by Westminster City Council and NHS Westminster. However, people can also purchase services themselves through Individual Budgets or the Direct Payments scheme.
Involving the people who use our services, and giving them a voice, has always been at the heart of what we do, as has working with other organisations, communities and groups within the City of Westminster, in order to play our part in meeting the needs of local people and challenging stigma and discrimination in all its forms.
